Full Terms & Conditions.

  1. All Exhibitors must live within a 30 mile radius of St Just.

  2. No down loaded images made into any items, unless it was your original design. This must be clearly shown.

  3. No purchased embellishments will be accepted except if sewn on textile exhibits:
    Christmas trims on Advent calendars & stockings etc are acceptable but plastic holly & tinsel on anything are not acceptable.

  4. No stick on greetings.

  5. No use of commercial stamps or imprinting machines.

  6. No cards/papercrafts made up from commercially purchased kits.

  7. Paintings should be framed, but we will accept unframed paintings where the canvas has been painted on the sides, if the painting has been mounted & correctly corded for hanging i.e. by means of screw-eyes, not staples. A wire on the reverse for hanging is not acceptable. All paintings must be clearly labelled, showing your name, price, title & order of preference for hanging. Paintings must be titled!!!!! You may enter up to 4 unglazed paintings & up to 3 glazed paintings.

  8. All craft items must be clearly labelled with your full name, not just surname or initials, price & Exhibitor No. Your Exhibitors No’s to be written or typed in green ink & clearly visible, to help Sales Desk volunteers enter the correct No on the Sales Sheet. Prices must also be clearly visible. The Committee accepts no responsibility for items damaged due to them being handled because the price was not clearly visible.

  9. Entry is £10.00 per person, not per space. Professional couples working together may pay 1 fee. Different crafts cannot share a space if made by different people. You may enter more than 1 type of craft for the £10.00. These must be on separate Entry Forms.

  10. Our Commission is 26% which will be donated to Cancer Research UK.

  11. Entry forms can be collected from: The Art Shop, Chapel St. Penzance; Moonshine Gallery, High St, Penzance or Bank Square Gallery, St. Just. Or send an SAE to Helen Williams, Fisherman’s Rest, Nancherrow, St. Just, TR19 7PW. If you have exhibited in the last 2 years you will receive an Entry form. DO NOT RETURN YOUR ENTRY FORM!!!!! Complete it & bring it with your Exhibits, using 1 form for each type of craft. You may photocopy your original Form.

  12. Craft Exhibitors must confirm their intention to Exhibit by Wednesday July 18th by phone to Helen Williams on 01736 786613, or they will not be allocated a space.

  13. If you have any large or unusual items or paintings to Exhibit please telephone Helen Williams on 01736 786613.

  14. Paintings or other large craft items which have been Exhibited with us within the last 3 years will not be accepted.

  15. Selling prices must be rounded to the nearest 5p.

  16. Items priced at under £1.00 will not be accepted.

  17. Reductions for buying multiples will not be accepted.

  18. Display boxes/stands must be provided for cards, prints, unframed photographs etc.

  19. All gold & silver jewellery must be displayed in a locked case. It is your responsibility to ensure that all gold & silver items are hallmarked in accordance with current Assay Regulations.

  20. A purchased pendant put on a purchased chain or thong is not acceptable. We do not expect jewellers to make their own findings but we do expect a degree of expertise & effort.

  21. All toys must conform to Safety Regulations as set out in BS5665.

  22. All working electrical appliances must have a current PAT certificate even if only for display purposes. We can provide this for a fee of £3.00.

  23. Lampshades must be your own creation. If you have made a lamp base please do not supply a commercially purchased shade, even if you are giving it away.

  24. All Exhibits will be accepted on Friday July 27th from 10.00 am to 5 pm & Saturday July 28th from 9 am to 2 pm.

  25. Display tables will already be set up & dressed with CR UK coloured cloths. You may bring additional cloth in these colours of white, blue & pink.

  26. Payment & unsold Exhibits can only be collected on Saturday August 18th from 9.30 am to 12 noon. Payment will be made by cheque. Do not try to get in earlier to avoid the queue. We have a considerable amount of work to do before we can allow members of the public in.

  27. The Committee accepts no responsibility for items not collected by 12 noon on August 18th. Any uncollected items will be deemed to be donations to Cancer Research UK.

  28. No unsold items will be removed before Saturday August 18th.

  29. No items will be swapped for other items or moved about during the Exhibition by Exhibitors.

  30. All items are subject to Committee approval & their decision is final. Any items considered to have been made from commercial kits or to be of insufficient quality will not be accepted.

  31. All items are displayed at the owners’ risk.
